Wilson Henry Achieve Gold Standard

Wilson Henry Chartered Accountants first became Investors in People (IIP) accredited in 1996. In the words of CEO Hilene Henry : “Our reason for wanting to become IIP accredited wasn’t merely to put the laurel leaf logo on our letterhead; it was driven by a sound business need to embed good working practices and thinking into the business. The essence of IIP is one of developing a culture of ongoing business improvement through ensuring our people are continually trained and tooled up to do their job. This translates into delivering the very best we can for our clients.

As a firm who is passionate about continuous improvement, Wilson Henry embarked on a process of introducing Personal Development Plans for each Wilson Henry team member with SMART targets geared to objectives that makes it efficient internally and delivers the optimum to its external clients. This went some way to Wilson Henry being awarded the prestigious IIP Gold Standard in August 2011 and re-accredited in 2017. Wilson Henry is now amongst the top 1% of professional firms and one of the few Liverpool Chartered Accountancy firms to have attained Gold Standard. Hilene concludes: “The job of continuous improvement within business is never done, there are always fresh challenges and demands; we aim to ensure that we don’t deviate from our prime objective of serving the needs of our clients the best way we can”.
