All of the demolition work is now complete on Edge Lane and the laying of the new road continues apace. Work is now being undertaken to fashion the new road, which will be called Belltower Lane, next to our building. Planning permission has now been passed for a Health Centre next to our office, with car park and landscaping. Exciting times!
2010
Plans to develop Edge Lane, Liverpool have been on the drawing board for a long time but now real progress is apparent.
Demolition of properties bordering Edge Lane has begun and planning permission has been sought for a new road, School Lane, to run behind and down the side of Wilson Henry, as well as plans for building new houses and commercial space on what will be a widened road with improved traffic flow.
Current estimates indicate that the work in the vicinity of our office will be completed by October 2011.
